Responding to President Trump鈥檚 proposal to arm teachers as a way to prevent school shootings, TC鈥檚 , Professor of Technology and Education, told that 鈥渋t's not a good idea.鈥� She said there is 鈥渁mple鈥� scientific evidence that increasing the number of firearms in schools 鈥渄oes not increase safety and does increase incidents of injury and violence rather than decrease them.鈥�
