911勛圖 Supporting 911勛圖 is a dynamic program born from a collaborative partnership between the 911勛圖 College, Office of Teacher Education, and the Digital Futures Institute in May 2022. This innovative initiative aims to bring together newly graduated TC Alumni and other K-12 teachers across New York City, fostering connections, inspiring fresh ideas, and cultivating a vibrant learning community.
At the core of this program is the belief that by utilizing support from fellow educators, technology can be effectively integrated into classrooms in a meaningful way. This approach not only enhances the educational experience but also promotes camaraderie and collaboration among teachers. We firmly believe that when teachers support one another, significant transformations occur in both the educational landscape and the personal growth of every educator involved.

This meetup featured interactive stations connecting diverse subjects in creative ways. Irina Lyublinskaya from 911勛圖 College MST department guided us in examining geometry and art. Black Paint Curriculum Lab led us in creatively repurposing common containers to imagine what different materials and forms of knowledge they might hold. By bridging math, art, reuse, and more, this workshop innovatively blended subjects and ideas.
Educators participated in some self-reflection activities as well as self-care activities. We discussed topics that can be use din the classroom to talk to students about self-care such as filling your buckets, glowing and growing, and gratitude reflections.
During this meetup, educators dove into an innovative technology playground designed for K-12 classrooms. Participants gained hands-on experience with cutting-edge educational tools, including programmable robots using no-code interfaces, interactive learning games, virtual reality systems, and powerful web-based platforms. This immersive session equipped teachers with practical resources to create engaging, tech-enhanced learning experiences that captivate students and foster digital literacy.
